Employed as an Electrical Engineer. Prepared calculations, evaluations, and specifications. Assigned to construction sites for inspection, test and start-up activities, and resolution of design problems.

• United Engineers & Constructors, Inc. (1972-1984)

Employed as Supervising Electrical Engineer (1979-1984) and Electrical Engineer (1972-1979), responsible for engineering, design, and start-up of power generation and industrial projects. Prepared calculations, evaluations, specifications and drawings for various electrical distribution equipment, instrumentation and control systems. Also involved in test and start-up of equipment during construction.

• Fleetridge, Inc. (1984-1988)

Employed as Vice President (1985-1988) and Chief Electrical Engineer (1984-1985), responsible for all engineering and design, and design of electrical systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities. Prepared calculations, evaluations, specifications and drawings for all electrical distribution equipment, lighting, instrumentation and control systems. Also acted as Project Manager on various projects.

Employed as a Consulting Engineer to investigate accidents, equipment failures, and fire causation. Evaluated utility power systems involved in surges and interruptions, contact with high voltage wires and equipment causing shock or electrocution. Also evaluated construction and electrical code compliance, equipment and control system failures, elevator and escalator incidents. Fire causation investigations required evidence examination, analysis, and testing of various equipment and appliances in commercial, residential, and industrial fires.

• B.C. Engineering Services, Inc. (1996- Present)

President of the company, involved in forensic engineering and design services. Investigate fire causation, examine evidence and test various appliances and equipment. Evaluate utility power systems involved in surges and interruptions, contact with high voltage wires and equipment resulting in shock or electrocution.
